Day 01

Day 02

Explore the village of Negombo, making stops at the colourful churches and spotless beaches. Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on your way to Sigiriya; it’s an awesome place to see the baby elephants who are loved and cared for.

Day 03

Climb Sigiriya Rock, considered one of Sri Lanka’s most visited visitor destinations, early in the morning. The stairs that lead to the summit, where the palace at the start stood, are guarded by using the famous massive lion paws. In the afternoon, journey to Polonnaruwa city to see the ancient remnants of the island’s fascinating history.

Day 04

Explore the island’s first ancient capital, Anuradhapura. For more than a thousand years, the nation turned into ruled by 117 kings who constructed Buddhist temples, irrigation structures, reservoirs, pleasure gardens, and tremendous palaces. Day 11 - 13

Discover Galle’s remarkable Dutch Fort this morning. It’s known as Asia’s best-preserved colonial sea fort.
