Day 01 & 02: Kalpitiya

Head to your hotel in Kalpitiya a city renowned for its stunning waterfront. Make an early departure the following morning to go dolphin-watching. Large groups of dolphins representing many different species gather off the coast of Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka.

Day 03: Wilpattu National Park

Take a thrilling Jeep Safari in Wilpattu National Park on this particular day. This is home to the island’s native stunning Sri Lankan leopard. Experience the natural surroundings with the sloth bear leopard and elephants of Sri Lanka.

Day 04 & 05: Habarana
Day 04 - 05
Make your way to Habarana where you can see the eighth wonder of the world the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The following day take an exhilarating Minneriya Jeep Safari that guarantees you will see wild elephants congregating close to the lake. A tour of the village showcasing this island’s cultural legacy is a great way to end the day.

Day 06: Ramboda (via Kandy)

Explore some of the most well-known sites in Kandy while travelling to Ramboda. Admire the breathtaking colonial architecture of Kandy while enjoying a local tour. You will come across the city’s well-known Udarata culture. Visit the well-known Ramboda waterfalls and if you’d like go swimming.

Day 07: Ella

Witness the spectacular train trip from Nanu Oya to Ella, filled with lush green countryside and cascading waterfalls. Enjoy the remainder of the day in the cool, foggy weather.

Day 08, 09 & 10: Arugam Bay

Climb Little Adam’s Peak in the early morning hours, this site is highly revered in many different religions worldwide. Next stop by the Nine Arches Bridge one of the most photogenic spots on the island. Head to Arugam Bay after bidding Ella farewell. Take in the serene surroundings and beach vibes of Arugam Bay for the next two days. Play in the water and take advantage of this surfing environment.

Day 11: Yala National Park

See the many leopards and elephants that call Yala home for an exciting Jeep Safari. Make the most of the day by seeing wildlife and making it one of your most memorable ones.

Day 12: Udawalawa National Park

Arrive at your Udawalawe accommodation after a thrilling jeep safari through the National Park. There could be a variety of migratory and endemic birds found. More wildlife such as sambar deer and crocodiles can be seen. If time permits spend your final day in Colombo taking in the city’s sights before heading to the airport and ending your incredible journey through Sri Lanka.

Day 13 & 14: Unawatuna

Spend these two days relaxing on the peaceful beaches of this island. Visit Galles Dutch Fort in the early morning, thought to be Asia’s best-preserved colonial sea fortress. One of the historical sites within the fort is supposed to be the oldest breadfruit tree on the island. Enjoy the rest of the day by relaxing on the sand. The next morning go whale watching in Mirissa to catch a glimpse of Sri Lanka’s amazing whales. As the day comes to an end enjoy the local way of life by going for a bike ride through the village.
